International Mixed-Use Facility
(Hotel, Retail and a Convention Center)
The project is located on the Northern corniche, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The area is known to be busy during weekends and holiday seasons. This complex is designed to activate the flow of this specific area during the year.
The main Concept of the design is to create a relationship between the structure and the human scale; visually and functionally. Therefore, the site was divided into three main platforms occupying different levels, the private platform; the semi- private level holds the convention and auditorium , finally the public level, which sits close to the roundabout and is accessible to everyone; the busiest area of the plot, holds the retail shops.
